Amarjeet Sohi is the most down to Earth politician I have ever met. His genuine concern and passion for making our city a better place ring true with him time and time again. His "superstar" status with my students whenever they meet him is definitely a tribute to his strong community connections. If you were running in Ward 1, I'd definitely be voting for you, Mr. Sohi!!

It is my pleasure to endorse Amarjeet Sohi in the upcoming civic election. Amarjeet has been an integral part of City Council and has been an avid supporter of community leagues throughout the city, predominately in Millwoods. I have had the opportunity to work alongside Amarjeet on several occasions throughout my 10 years as the President of the Burnewood Community League and I am Proud to call Amarjeet my friend.

I sadly realize that after the election in October you will no longer be an Alderman in my ward. You will be a huge loss for us and I hope that whomever we get meets your standards. I wish you much luck in the election!! I thank you for the years you served Ward 6, you are awesome!!

I am an 11 year old learning about democracy in grade 6 and the teacher has given me info about you.... I love things that you have done and your priorities. You have kept 99.9% of mill woods happy and so you are my greatest role model. You are someone who I would like to be. thank you.:)

I want to sincerely thank you, Councillor Sohi, for the great job you are doing as our ward councillor. I'm very proud to live in your ward.

Councillor Sohi is a strong supporter of the Community and has made significant contribution in making the Community of Mill Woods and the Meadows a safe and enjoyable place to live . He has provided leadership in addressing the needs of the Seniors in Mill Woods and is working very hard to build a Seniors Centre to serve South East Edmonton.

I am very proud of Amarjeet for everything he does and I can’t wait to proudly display a sign at my home.

I especially liked the fact that Amarjeet got together with the parents of the troubled youth in Mill Woods. These are the kind of things that can possibly bring results. More people should try it.

Amarjeet's presence on council is a real breath of fresh air. Good public transit is really crucial for Edmonton. His background as a bus driver gives me confidence that he understands the impacts of city policy — especially regarding transit and convenience — on our working lives and free time.
